Perfect with an Iphone/smartphone

I got this head unit because I got an iphone 3GS (previous iphone models do not have Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP)) and wanted something that would give me as many options of integrating it with the car stereo as possible without spending a ton of money. Had mine for a month now - glad I bought it!

I saw this on a shelf in a local Fry's. I had already tried and returned the MEX-BT2700U last year. I had a few minutes to spare so I tried it. Looked and sounded good. When I confirmed that you can use the Bluetooth Phone with the Internal mike, or get an External mike, I bought it on the spot....

Changing Head Units in an 05' Mazda RX-8 GT?

I have been updated by a friend as a change of unit factory 6CD bridge would be difficult for the reason that they have a strange shape rounded to them, where most units are parts of rectangular.

I have a Sony MEXBT3700U (MEXBT3800U is the newest model) and streams and making calls with the Droid without any problem (with detection of the action, which belongs OK w / o any verification, because 2.2) is a reasonable price, the characteristics of talent, and works well for me. I bought it from Crutchfield for their guides, since I did the fix in place.
