Connecting PS3 to Samsung monitor with HDMI cable + HDMI to DVI ...

I have 3 PS3 and 3 monitors, one in the old port is the new PS3 which I had recently (May 2009) and some arguments that I can not get it to work with the Samsung SyncMaster 226BW via HDMI docking with a HDMI to DVI / converter. But when I saw the size of PS3 (purchased in September 2008) via HDMI wire with a DVI to HDMI adapter / converter for the Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, it works and I get pictures. However, when I link the PS3 fist Mailgram via HDMI with a DVI to HDMI converter / center for CRT Samsung T220, it works well and I get a graven image. Anyone understand why?I suspect recent departure of the PS3 does not correct with the older monitors via HDMI to DVI / converter? Thankss
